चार चौघात बसण्यापेक्षा,
कधी कधी समुद्र किनाऱ्यावर
आठवणींना घेऊन बसावं
आयुष्य जास्त सुंदर वाटत..

आपल्याला कोण हवंय
यापेक्षा आपण कोणाला हवंय
हे सुद्धा कधीतरी पहावं
आयुष्य जास्त सुंदर वाटत..

आपल्याला काय मिळालं नाही
हे पाहण्यापेक्षा
आपल्याला काय मिळालयं हे पहावं
आयुष्य जास्त सुंदर वाटत..

आकाशातले तारे कधीच मोजून होत नाहीत
माणसाच्या गरजा कधीच संपत नाहीत
शक्य तेवढे तारे मोजून समाधानी रहाव

When things go wrong,
As they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,

गंगामाई पाव्हणी आली गेली घरटात राहुन 

माहरे वाशीण पोरीसारखी चार भिंतीत नाचली

मोकळया हाती जाईल कशी बायको मात्र वाचली

भिंत खचली, चूल विझली होते नव्हते गेले

पसाद महणुन पापणयांमधय पाणी थोडे ठेवले

कारभारणीला घेऊन संग सर आता लढतो आहे

चिखलगाळ काढतो आहे, पडकी भिंत बांधतो आहे

खिशाकडे हात जाताच हसत हसत उठला

पैसे नकोत सर जरा एकटेपणा वाटला

मोडून पडला संसार तरी मोडला नाही कणा

कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती।


लहरों से डर कर नौका पार नहीं होती,

कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती।

नन्हीं चींटी जब दाना लेकर चलती है,
चढ़ती दीवारों पर, सौ बार फिसलती है।
मन का विश्वास रगों में साहस भरता है,
चढ़कर गिरना, गिरकर चढ़ना न अखरता है।
आख़िर उसकी मेहनत बेकार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती।

डुबकियां सिंधु में गोताखोर लगाता है,
जा जा कर खाली हाथ लौटकर आता है।
मिलते नहीं सहज ही मोती गहरे पानी में,
बढ़ता दुगना उत्साह इसी हैरानी में।
मुट्ठी उसकी खाली हर बार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती।

असफलता एक चुनौती है, इसे स्वीकार करो,
क्या कमी रह गई, देखो और सुधार करो।
जब तक न सफल हो, नींद चैन को त्यागो तुम,
संघर्ष का मैदान छोड़ कर मत भागो तुम।
कुछ किये बिना ही जय जय कार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती।

To dream the impossible dream,
To fight the unbeatable foe,
